Manjuelong Village– Hangzhou’s Golden Osmanthus Wonderland

#discoverchina 🏔 Manjuelong is famous for its osmanthus flowers. Every autumn, when the flowers are in full bloom, their fragrance fills the entire mountain, and the falling petals resemble rain—hence the poetic name "Sweet Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong". In 1985, it was named one of the New Ten Scenes of West Lake. When I visited, the osmanthus hadn’t bloomed yet, so there weren’t many people around. 🗺 Route: - Navigate to Shiwudong (Stone House Cave) → Tangwu → Swing at the Mountain Top 🛖 Tangwu : Look for No. 75 Manjuelong sign, then head uphill. ⛰️ Mountain-Top Swing: Take the small path next to the Stone House Cave, and keep climbing.
