This Stunning Hangzhou Spot took me by Surprise!

How many times have I been in Hangzhou? Yet I've only recently discovered this stunning place in the east side of the city. This is a scenic area called Jinshahu, or Golden Sand Lake in English. It's a tranquil and charming lake spot surrounded by man-made sand beaches and an impressive modern theater that lights beautifully at night. During the day, the shiny waters of the lake and the golden sand offer a nice beach vibe that contrasts beautifully with the urban landscape, making it a great spot for pictures! 📸 Although it's in a residential area with tall buildings and shopping malls nearby, you can still get the feeling of a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here the locals enjoy serene strolls by the riverbank, lovely picnics and family quality time. It may not be as famous as other spots in Hangzhou but it sure offers comparable scenic beauty and a less crowded experience. If you've come to Hangzhou before and have seen the West Lake, this might be a good opportunity to check out a new place in the city.
