Nine Creeks and Smoky Trees at West Lake, Hangzhou

Nine Creeks and Mist-covered Trees is one of the ten new scenic spots of West Lake in Hangzhou, commonly known as "Nine Creeks and Eighteen Streams". It is located at the foot of Jiguanlong in the mountains west of West Lake. It connects to Longjing in the north and runs through Qiantang River in the south. It originates from the foot of Yangmei Ridge on Wengjia Mountain, and converges with Qingwan, Hongfa, Tangjia, Xiaokang, Foshi, Baizhang, Yunqi, Qingtou and Fangjia nine streams, winding and hidden, and finally flows into Qianjiang River. Jiuxi Yanshu is also one of the producing areas of Longjing tea. The Longjing tea specially supplied to the Great Hall of the People is produced here. The background of Figure 3 is the Longjing tea planting area. This is an open free scenic spot.
