Hangzhou Xianghu Lake

Xianghu Lake is known as the "sister lake" of West Lake for its beautiful scenery. It is a lake in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Xianghu Lake is also one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. During the excavation of the Kuahuqiao Cultural Site, a national cultural relic protection site, the world's earliest canoe was unearthed, pushing the history of Zhejiang civilization back eight thousand years. The ruins of Yuewang City on the top of Xianghu City Mountain have a history of more than 2,500 years.
