Took a leisurely (and sweaty!) stroll from the Old Quarters to the historic Temple of Literature, one of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks. The walk was scenic but the sun was merciless, so I absolutely had to grab an iced Vietnamese coffee en route – no regrets! ☀️🥵☕️ The Temple of Literature is Hanoi's first university, dating back to 1070, and it beautifully blends peaceful gardens, ancient wisdom, and cultural pride. Despite the sunshine and early coffee pit stop, the serene atmosphere and historic architecture made it a highlight of my visit. 🎫 Oh—and yes, Trip.com had my ticket sorted before I stepped foot on the grounds—smooth and stress-free! Getting There: Walkable from Old Quarter, or easily reachable via Grab/taxi (around 60k–70k VND) 💡Trip tip: Bring water or pick up a drink before you enter. There’s limited shade, especially mid-day.
