Gayasan National Park

#koreatrip "Gayasan National Park is a wonderful mix of nature and history. The highlight of my visit was Haeinsa Temple, one of Korea’s most important Buddhist temples and home to the famous Tripitaka Koreana woodblocks. The temple’s peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture made it a memorable stop before my hike. The trails in Gayasan are well-marked and offer breathtaking views, especially from Sangwangbong Peak. The scenery along the way was stunning, with rocky cliffs, dense forests, and flowing streams. The hike wasn’t too difficult, making it suitable for casual hikers as well. One thing I loved about this park was how quiet and serene it felt—it wasn’t as crowded as other national parks, which made the experience even more special. Whether you’re visiting for the history, the stunning nature, or a bit of both, Gayasan is definitely worth adding to your Korea trip itinerary!"
