The most beautiful library in Japan

Situated halfway between Kyoto and Osaka, the stunning eight-story Hirakata T-Site looks like a series of glass boxes stacked on top of each other. Although it’s more of a shopping mall than a library, the centerpiece of this gorgeous space is the Tsutaya Bookstore, with a soaring atrium and 7-meter-high walls filled with books. There are two of these impressive book walls on the fifth floor, and they’ve become an Instagram hit.
