Hiroshima Cherry Blossom Viewing: Old Ota River Pathway Sakura

Walking north from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, you will find cherry blossom trees lining both sides of the Old Ota River pathway. The stretch of cherry blossom trees along the Old Ota River is quite extensive, spanning over 1.5 kilometers. Even as you walk past Hiroshima Castle and reach the northern area near Mitsujima Bridge, you will still encounter cherry blossoms. If you visit Hiroshima during cherry blossom season, make sure to take a stroll along the Old Ota River pathway and enjoy the blossoms together with the locals.
