Rich bean curd stick smoothie | Dumpling Ice House

In recent years, restaurants in Cheung Chau have become more diversified. From small snacks such as big fish balls and mango glutinous rice balls to restaurants with different themes, there are Western fried seafood, taro balls and cheese drinks. Today when I came to Cheung Chau for fun, I was attracted by the Dumpling Ice House and stopped to patronize it. Dumplings and ice cream are a novel combination, but what attracted me the most was their dessert - bean curd, egg, barley shaved ice ($25). A bowl of sweet soup that I usually only enjoy in Hong Kong-style dessert shops has now become shaved ice. As a bean curd lover, I certainly can't miss it 🤤 The restaurant is decorated in a retro style. The facade looks a bit like a time ice house, and the interior is dominated by green. The wooden tables and chairs are also green. There are many cute little ornaments on the table, such as old-fashioned telephones and small steamers. The wallpaper uses paper stone and cement patterns, which has an old-fashioned flavor. In addition to smoothies, the set meal comes with dumplings or sweet and sour pork ribs with chicken and rice 🍛 which is very special. However, since I was just here to try it out today, I chose a 6-dumpling meal ($38). Among the many special dumplings, I chose the black and white bandit fried dumplings. My drink of the day was Four Seasons Spring Tea. The Four Seasons Spring Tea was served in a large milk tea and coffee cup, and the black and white bandit dumplings were next on the menu 🥟 The cumin flavor was everywhere, and they were sprinkled with roasted black and white sesame seeds. I was worried that it would be too salty, but the seasoning was just right, and it was juicy when I took a bite. Be careful when eating, otherwise it will burn your tongue👅 The smoothie made its final appearance🍧The barley was spread on the smoothie.
