Sok Kwu Wan After getting off the boat at the pier, your eyes will definitely be attracted by the small street in front of you that is full of restaurants and handicraft shops. You can have a seafood meal here or buy some authentic seafood. Food: Lamma Island is famous for its fresh seafood, ranging from those caught in local waters to those imported from Canada, all of which can be tasted at Sok Kwu Wan Seafood Restaurant. Culture: Visitors who are interested in the traditional customs and history of Hong Kong fishermen can visit the Lamma Island Fishermen's Cultural Village. Guided tours are available on weekends and holidays, including visits to old fishing boats and fish farms. Tianhou Temple This Tianhou Temple has a history of 150 years. Before going out to sea to fish, local fishermen will pray to the Tianhou Goddess who controls the sea for peace and a good harvest. The Tin Hau Temple suffered a fire in 2005. After reconstruction, a specimen of an oarfish was displayed in the temple. The oarfish is the longest bony fish in the world. The specimen in the temple was caught by fishermen in the bay of Lamma Island in 2001. Observation Deck Walk up the hill along the Lamma Island Family Trail and you will soon arrive at the viewing pavilion. You can take a break here and overlook the views of Aberdeen, Repulse Bay and Ocean Park across the East Lamma Channel.
