Christmas Mini American Burgers｜Sip & Slide

It’s time to go out and explore the new Christmas look of Hong Kong on the weekend. I made an appointment with a friend to go to Tai Kwun to see the new huge Christmas tree and the new exhibition. Before visiting the exhibition, my friend took me to a newly opened American hamburger restaurant. When I heard about the hamburger restaurant, I was a little resistant because it’s difficult to eat beautifully, but my friend said that there would be unexpected surprises in this restaurant. We took the Central escalator to Lyndhurst Terrace and returned to the ground level. There was a narrow entrance to a building next to it. It turned out to be the same building where we had the all-you-can-eat chicken wing restaurant Wingman before. Last time it was on the 6th floor, today it is on the 5th floor. When I got there, I found out that it was a Wingman branch, which had just opened in October. I had more confidence in the food☺ The decoration inside the store is simple, with blue as the main color. The atmosphere is relaxed. The menu is mainly composed of various fast foods. The most signature one is the mini American burger, which is small and cute. The best thing is that you don’t have to worry about opening your mouth wide to eat it. Even ladies can enjoy the pleasure of eating meat filling and wrapping it. As we were looking at the menu, the waiter took the initiative to introduce that the restaurant had prepared a festive menu for Christmas. When I heard that it was limited time only, I couldn’t resist 🤩 and ordered this early Christmas dinner. It cost $268 per person and included a salad, two burgers, a side dish, a dessert and a drink. 🍁Christmas Starter | 7/10 The representative color of Christmas is red. This salad uses vegetables such as carrots that have been pickled to a soft wine red color. It is very acidic and is an excellent appetizer salad. 🐷BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese | 7.5/10 There are two side options, the other is Bacon Brussel Sprouts, which is a crispier vegetable option, but I ordered the baked macaroni because I was worried that my friend might not have enough. As soon as I put it down, I could smell the strong smell of barbecue sauce, and the cheese covered the whole portion of macaroni🧀 Once you dig it open, you can see the shredded pork inside. It is the most classic American barbecue dish. It has both meaty flavor and chewy texture. However, the seasoning is a bit salty and needs to be diluted with some soup. 🍔Cranberry Turkey Slider | 7/10 There is quite a lot of Cranberry sauce🍒 which keeps flowing down. It is a traditional ingredient for the American Thanksgiving main course turkey, so this burger with turkey is a real miniature American flavor. The sour and sweet sauce removes the greasy taste of turkey and cheese🤗 🍷Mulled Wine Slider | 8/10 Yesterday I watched a video and happened to see Dongfang Sheng drinking a glass of mulled wine at the Christmas market in the UK. I didn’t expect to see it today. Mulled Wine is a must-have drink for European countries during the autumn and winter festivals such as Halloween and Christmas. Today, two burgers let us experience the European and American flavors. This sauce is not as strong as cranberry, it is more delicious with a low profile, and a slice of orange is placed on the top. It also adds a refreshing and sweet taste when recreating the recipe. The fat-to-lean ratio of 7:3 for the hamburger is just right. 🍋Lemontart | 7.5/10 The final lemon tart is sprinkled with icing sugar. The lemon in the middle is very filling, and there is dried lemon peel on it, which adds a layered feel. The outside is very crispy and addictive. 😙 🥃Ooooolong Ginger Tea | 8/10 There is only one drink with the meal, you can choose standard or tea. This cup of tea is so refreshing 🌿 It can sweep away the strong taste of American fast food. What I appreciate most is that there are real ginger grains in it, which is slightly spicy and refreshing. 🍦Hong Kong Toast | $75 | 7/10 Since there was only one drink, my friend ordered a local specialty Hong Kong Toast. It turned out to be a Milkshake created based on the concept of French toast, with peanut butter, condensed milk and vanilla ice cream. There were also digestive biscuit crumbs in the cup. It tasted a bit like a cocktail, but was sweeter.
