M+: More Than Meets The Eye

I've been wanting to go to M+ since last year. I've only made a successful trip last Wednesday. There were a lot of interesting things to see. The art pieces were eye catching and it made me think what the message of each piece was. I took my time reading the captions and I was right, there was more than what meets the eye. Either the artists really put a lot of thought to send a message or just to express themselves freely. The museum itself was beautifully designed and it offered views of West Kowloon Cultural District by the windows. I got a chance to view Yayoi Kusama's special exhibit in the basement and I also viewed the free exhibition at the ground floor. I also looked around the café, restaurant, learning hub, and gift shop. Tips: 1. Book your visit on a weekday, it'll be quiet inside and around the museum, Art Park, and the restaurants. 2. If you bring an umbrella, you have to leave it by the racks as it's not allowed inside. 3. Lend a minimum of 4 hours during your visit. Come on time for your booking. 4. Feel free to join the Letter Project. It'd be nice to leave a letter as part of the exhibit or have it mailed to someone 🥺💕. 5.
