Day trip to Mui Wo under Typhoon Signal No. 3

Mui Wo is located in the eastern part of Lantau Island, the New Territories of Hong Kong. It has always been one of the popular places for off-island picnics. We made an appointment with our friends to go in for a walk, eat and take pictures this Sunday. However, we encountered the No. 3 typhoon signal. However, it did not stop our interest. We took a day trip to Mui Wo under the No. 3 typhoon signal. The environment of Mui Wo is beautiful. Silvermine Bay beach, waterfall, Silvermine Cave, etc. are one of the hotspots for taking pictures. After getting off the boat you can walk right from the pier to Silvermine Bay Beach. The beach is less crowded, quiet and comfortable, clear water and fine sand. Featuring a barbecue, changing rooms, and showers, it is a great place for swimming and strolling along the sea. In addition to the beach, we also walked to Baiyin Township, found the Wenwu Temple, which is more than 400 years old, built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and went to the Hongsheng Ancient Temple. I didn't stay in Mui Wo for lunch because I was afraid it would rain if I walked further down, and I was afraid that it would be dangerous to take a boat in the wind.
