Help! I stumbled upon a breathtaking view while on a business trip to Hong Kong! After gaining some winter weight and needing XXL pants, I decided to go for a morning jog. To my surprise, at the corner of the Tai Wan Island loop on Chek Lap Kok South Road, I discovered a secluded cherry blossom paradise! Turns out, this is the "Cherry Blossom Coast" recommended by the Hong Kong International Airport's official website, located just outside the airport boundary. The Ngong Ping 360 cable car glides gently above the pink cherry blossoms, with the 934-meter-high Phoenix Mountain as the backdrop. When the morning light hits, the view is so stunning it melts your heart! I went there at 7 AM, and while the southern cherry blossom garden was inaccessible due to the absence of staff, the northern viewing hill entrance was perfect for capturing photos. Remember, after 8 AM, staff will be on duty, and both sides will be open for photo ops, so no need to wake up too early! This spot is super close to the Lonely Seaside Bus Stop on Chek Lap Kok South Road, making it easy to hit two Instagram-worthy locations in one go! I managed to capture cherry blossoms with a bus in the frame, but who can get a shot of the cherry blossom sea with a plane taking off? Share your photos!
