Personal Impressions from the Intangible Cultural Heritage Taste Exhibition at Taikoo Place

Taikoo Place, in collaboration with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, is currently hosting the Intangible Cultural Heritage Taste Exhibition. Located at 1111 King's Road on the ground floor, the exhibition showcases various types of intangible cultural heritage, such as egg tarts, milk tea, dim sum, and preserved olives as snacks. These are all traditional Hong Kong dining options, including old-style tea houses and cha chaan tengs, where the milk tea-making process is also introduced. Additionally, the exhibition features models of old Hong Kong eateries like Chinese ice rooms and Dai Tat Dei restaurants, offering insights into where Hong Kong people used to dine. It attracts those interested in exploring traditional Hong Kong cuisine and is a great spot for appreciation, taking photos, and creating memories.
