The restaurant walls are decorated with giant hand-painted cat cartoons, giving off a fresh and cute feel. After ordering the food, the first thing that comes to the table is the drinks full of Mala style! As a person who likes cold drinks, I chose orange plum juice for $30. My dad, who loves milk tea, chose the special pulled tea for $18! It takes a lot of effort to make the milk tea have such smooth foam and taste. The pitch-black appearance looks very tempting and the taste is very intoxicating with the rich aroma of medicinal herbs. We ordered pork thigh bone bak kut teh $106! Frankly speaking, I have tried many Bak Kut Teh restaurants and the ingredients are dry and like the dregs of the soup! But the large piece of pork thigh bone here is very soft, tender and smooth, and the aroma and taste of the Soman Bak Kut Teh is really a surprise. The chicken feet we give away are really good! I like it to be cooked until it is well-flavored but not loose, and it has very good elasticity and taste when eaten. It gives my mouth a very enjoyable texture and taste, which is great. Mala Satay Skewers $64/3 skewers! We chose one skewer each of pork, beef and chicken. The satay sauce had a strong peanut aroma and was sweet and pleasant. The skewers were cooked to perfection and were not dry or woody. The meat was very good and delicious. As seafood lovers, we both liked the sweet and sour tiger prawns at $148! It was my first time tasting stir-fried shrimps cooked with dried fish and black pepper. The salty and fragrant taste was quite special and went really well with the tiger prawns. Finally, there is a hand-pulled pancake with curry chicken for $62! The crispy and chewy pancakes are very delicious when dipped in the spicy curry sauce, and the minced potatoes in the curry have become our favorite. This cute little shop serves very good and fragrant Bak Kut Teh, which is particularly attractive. The price is also very reasonable and it is definitely worth a try.
