Cheung Chau Adventure: Breathtaking Views, Vibrant Streets, and Tasty Treats

#favouriteitinerary #travelanywhere Cheung Chau Island was nothing short of magical, with perfect weather to complement its charm. We began our journey with a serene 1-hour ferry ride from Central Pier, offering scenic views of the harbor and building anticipation for the adventure ahead. As we docked at the pier, the vibrant sight of fishing boats bobbing gently in the water set the tone for the day. The lively food vendors lining Pak She Praya Road and Cheung Chau Family Walk added to the island's bustling, yet relaxed, atmosphere. One of the highlights was Coral Beach, where we were greeted by brilliant blue skies and sparkling turquoise waters. A short, invigorating walk uphill led us to the North Lookout Pavilion, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the beach below, with the pristine waters shimmering under the sun and the lush hills surrounding us in their full, vibrant green. The weather was simply perfect, making this spot a standout for me. From there, we made our way to Pak Tin Temple, an area full of character, with local restaurants and bustling street vendors. The long queue at one particular stall couldn’t be ignored, so we grabbed skewers of deliciously savory fishballs and meatballs, which more than lived up to the hype. And, of course, the mango mochi here is a must-try—its sweet, tangy flavor was a refreshing delight. Next, we strolled to Tung Wan Beach, the island’s main stretch of sand, where we were captivated by the panoramic views of the ocean, its water a mesmerizing shade of blue under the flawless sky. Along the way, we passed the charming Love Lock Garden and explored boutique shops that added a quaint touch to the walk. For those seeking even more scenic beauty, the easy trail to the Mini Great Wall and Kwun Yam Wan Lookout Pavilion is highly recommended. Along the way, you'll encounter striking rock formations and sweeping views of the ocean stretching to the horizon. The weather, with its clear skies and gentle breeze, made the walk even more enjoyable. In total, we spent about 4-5 hours taking in the island’s best spots, from scenic hikes to exploring charming streets and enjoying the island’s delicious food offerings. The clear skies, perfect temperatures, and stunning blue waters made it an unforgettable experience. I'm already dreaming of my next trip—especially for another round of that irresistible mango mochi! #myitinerary #travel #thingstodo #naturalwonders #seascapes #citydaytours #localfood #chinatrip

Parent-child hiking route recommendation: Little Great Wall #Cheung Chau #Look at strange stones #climbing rocks #Look at the scenery What do you usually do when you go to Cheung Chau? I would probably eat big fish balls and mango glutinous rice dumplings anyway, and also walk around Cheung Po Tsai Cave We went to another hiking route in Cheung Chau a few days ago: the Little Great Wall ~ This route is really quite nice, and you can see beautiful scenery, and strange-shaped rocks! After taking the boat to Cheung Chau, turn right into Shing Chang Lane, go to Tai Sin Back Street and then turn right, a few steps to turn left Cheung Chau Hilltop Road, walk all the way until you see a building decorated with many frogs and Guan Gong Loyalty Pavilion (It sounds like it's far and complicated, but with a Google Map open, it's easy to get to Guanyin Bay Road😁) Walk along Guanyin Bay Road, but Guanyin Ancient Temple, not far away you will see the signs to the Little Great Wall. At first, you go up the stone steps, and you can see the beautiful scenery of Guanyin Bay and Anime on the left. The weather was nice on the day we went for the walk. There were no clouds, a blue sky and green water. We felt relaxed and happy when we saw it😊 There are signs on the Great Wall explaining which locations have strange stones. Some of the statues are quite realistic, while others require more imagination We first went to see the Doraemon Stone, Vase Stone and Golden Eagle Stone, this we do not think like 😆 Doraemon Stone can be proceeded along the rope, but we did not go, went to the vase stone next to it; Walk back up the main road and look up to see the Elephant Stone. Moving forward, we saw the stone tablet of the Civil Affairs Department, so we turned down to see the woman's head stone. We think this stone statue is the most authentic🤩 Finally, look at the jade stone stone and finish, follow the original route back to Cheung Chau Avenue to eat to treat your stomach 😋 The Great Wall is paved with large stones all the way, with a fence next to it. Adults and children can walk very easily 👍🏻 Based on Natalie's walking distance, including taking pictures and taking pictures in about two hours ✅ However, you can't push the stroller 🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️ #familytravel#hiking#naturalwonders
