Passionate Spanish Night @Rustico

Spain gives me a passionate and hot feeling! The best way to experience this country before having the chance to visit is to try the local cuisine, and when I think of my favorite Spanish restaurants, Lai Chi Kok is the first place that comes to mind. This is Rustico located in D2 Place, Lai Chi Kok! I couldn’t stop thinking about the main dishes of Spanish chef Javier Pérez Freire after trying them for the first time last time, so I finally made an appointment with my friends to relive the delicious taste together today. The red brick walls in the store create a Spanish-like atmosphere, and it feels even more relaxing to sit next to the glass window for the first time. Start with the homemade crispy cream balls at $128 to whet your appetite! It is fried until crispy and not greasy, with smooth cream filling inside. It tastes superbly good with the greasy air-dried ham. Foie gras mousse with green apple and smoked mackerel $178! This very refreshing looking dish turned out to be from the Axis of Evil. The wicked foie gras mousse is very sweet with a hint of wine in the mouth, and the bottom layer is sour and fragrant green apple slices sandwiched with smoked mackerel, paired with crispy toast. When you put it in your mouth and enjoy it together, the layering and taste are super rich and satisfying. Spanish tomato buffalo cheese salad $158! The sweet tomatoes paired with the smooth buffalo cheese bring out a refreshing and delicious flavor. Spanish runny eggs with spicy sausage $128! This dish can be served with a choice of ham in addition to spicy sausage. After piercing the runny egg, mix the egg juice with spicy sausage and diced potatoes. The rich and substantial taste is very satisfying. The egg is rich and the spicy sausage is salty and delicious. The roasted potato cubes on the side dish are even more fragrant and delicious. Spanish Oxtail Rice $418! The soup is perfectly integrated into the rice, making it fragrant but not smelly, while the rice still has the proper texture. This rice is truly wonderful. Traditional Castilian roast suckling pig with herb-gratinated potatoes $348! Traditional Spanish Churro Crispy Strips $75 is definitely a classic Spanish dessert! The hot aroma is instantly condensed in the space.
