A corner of Jeju Island in HK

Terrace in Seaside in Harbour City brings a corner of Jeju Island and its iconic hagyul-inspired (summer tangerines) dishes I guess everyone is experiencing cabin fever lately cuz the place was quite packed when we came for weekday lunch. But then again it’s less spacious than the main Incheon branch, so do come earlier to avoid the queue [𝐆𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐩] This was a refreshing start to our meal 👌🏻 The sushi rolls were packed with standard (but still delicious) fillings, including beef bulgogi, crunchy cucumbers, carrots, eggs and yellow pickled radish [𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧] Probably every table ordered this, so don’t just take it from us that it’s definitely a must-try 🤓 The syrupy citrus sauce really made the crispy fried chicken, chewy tteokbokki (rice cakes) and fries pop with flavour! [𝐎𝐦𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐛 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐰] Upon serving, the waiter will help you to cut open the fluffy omelette, but we wanted to give it a try (swipe ➡️ to see the disaster…) The tender ribs were coated generously in a rich beef broth-based sauce, which went also well with mushroom, carrot and radish on the side [𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬] If you still have space for dessert, we highly recommend the super-cute mixed fruit sandwich! The fruit filling is seasonal so we got juicy strawberries and plump figs stuffed in between silky whipped cream that was not as heavy as expected 🍓 Stupid us thought that the strawberry tiramisu would have alcohol and coffee like the classic recipe, so we were quite surprised to discover that it was actually a sweet mousse/ sponge cake with fresh strawberries. We still enjoyed it though, especially as it came in such an adorable box 🥰 [𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬] Another must-order is the signature Jeju tangerine yogurt, which comes with an actual tangerine on top (perfect #forthegram) 📷 The drink itself was a light mixture of tangy juice and smooth yogurt - absolutely irresistible!
