The Shack Cafe Tai Wai

After the spacious house in Tai Wai, another independent coffee shop has opened! 🏡😍 Quietly nestled in a corner of Tianxin Village, it has actually been open for a week now. 🥳🎊 Although it's in the neighborhood and I pass by here often, it still took some time to find. 👀 On the map, it's near Platform, but I had to circle around twice before I found it. 📍 If you're coming from Tai Wai MTR Station, 🚇 after crossing the octopus bridge, walk to the Tianxin Village archway opposite Mingcheng, then just walk straight ahead. 🚶🏻♂️ (If you take a right at the fork, you'll end up at Dear Bakery 🏠.) For now, the shop only offers simple pastries, croffles, salads, and wraps 📋. I tried the pistachio-filled croissant 🥐. It's not too sweet, and the almond flakes on top add a nice nutty aroma. 😌 The North African baked eggs were a bit runnier compared to the usual, offering a different texture. 🥘 The Norwegian roll is a refreshing choice with smoked salmon and avocado wrap. 🫔 The coffee art could use some improvement, but the taste was good ☕️👍🏻.
