Exploring the Hidden Gem of Hong Kong: Cape D'Aguilar

Cape D'Aguilar is one of Hong Kong's marine protected areas, boasting rich marine ecology and preserving some historically valuable buildings. Due to its less convenient transportation compared to Shek O, it was once known as a hidden paradise. A leisurely walk in Cape D'Aguilar offers beautiful scenery along the way, including an old lighthouse and whale specimens. The coastline is teeming with diverse marine life, including various fish species, soft corals, hard corals, and gorgonians. There are also unique coastal landforms created by erosion, such as Thunder Cave and Crab Cave! Thunder Cave is particularly special; when huge waves crash into the cave, the sound is incredibly loud, and you have to be there in person to feel the impact!
