It was established in 1911 and is located at the junction of Eastern Hospital Road and Causeway Bay Road in Causeway Bay. It is currently the church of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Diocese of Hong Kong Island. The church is the only remaining church on Hong Kong Island that combines Chinese characteristics and Renaissance architectural style. It is now listed as a Grade I historical building in Hong Kong.
