I saw the promotion of afternoon tea for HK$100 on the HK01 website, which was very attractive, so I ordered a two-hour tea for two people from 3pm to 5pm on the eShop of 8 Degrees Harbour Plaza Hotel. In addition, I referred to the suggestions of online reviewers and called in advance to make reservations, requesting to sit by the window. Later I found that this was an extremely correct decision 😏. Location: Take bus 62X, get off at Sung Wong Toi Road Station, and walk about ten minutes. It is not remote, and the restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel. Environment: The entrance is decorated with some golden glitter, which feels a bit old-fashioned, and the indoor space is quite large, roughly divided into three parts, but the seats are close to each other, more and more dense, and you can completely hear what the guests at the table next to you are talking about. There are floor-to-ceiling glass windows facing the street, with translucent lace curtains, so sitting by the window is better for lighting. If you sit in the middle, there are people on all sides and the lights are dim. It is recommended to sit by the window. In addition, part of the place was cordoned off and not fully open. I don't know if it was closed for a period of time. I felt a musty smell all around 🤧, and the curtains were dusty. Not long after I sat down, 😑 I felt my thighs were quite itchy. It turned out that I was bitten by an insect 🦟, and there was a red dot 🙄, so the cleanliness of the environment was average. Service: The place was almost full that day, and the process was generally smooth. The drinks were self-service, and you could mix lemon tea, coffee or milk tea by yourself. After the tea, there were basically no staff to provide service. It was obvious that the production time was very rushed, and the ice was not completely melted, making one cup just the right sweetness and one cup too sweet. The ratio of bread to pudding is moderate, the sweetness is just right, and the texture is soft and smooth, full of egg fragrance.
