Central To Admiralty - Experience The Concrete Jungle Of Hong Kong

Hong Kong is infamous for it's towering skyline and bustling streets, it really is an iconic concrete jungle. The skyline is ever changing and there are always new landmarks being added to the lineup. One of my favourite places for these icons is Admirality, there is so much history here and such an incredible range of architectural styles - the contrast is stunning. The newest addistion being the HEnderson, one of the most expensive real estate sales in history - and one of the last designs by the late Zaha Hadid. If you want to take in these sights and really get a feel for the urban jungle that Hong Kong has tunred into, there is a great walk from Central to Admiralty with some great view points of the skyline. Start at the Central escalators and head to the very top, when you get there take a left and follow the signs for admiralty. As you come to the end of the first street you start to see the skyline emerge between the buildings and you get some amazing shots of new HK through the older towers in central, the residential buildings frame some of the landmark towers such as the Bank Of America Tower. Then you have some interesting concrete walkways they wind their way over, under and around the roads taking you down to Admiralty.
