During the weekend, we challenged ourselves for the first time to go from Shatin🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️ to Ma On Shan and Wu Kai Sha, 10k mission completed Starting point: ClubONE Riviera Located at 55-57 Tai Chung Kiu Road, Shatin, New Territories, it is the only Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong built with marble, resembling a ship moored at the shore. End point: Ma On Shan Seaside Promenade Located along the coast of Ma On Shan, it is the second largest seaside promenade in Sha Tin District. We started from the junction of Siu Lek Yuen Road and Tai Chung Kiu Road on the east bank of Shing Mun River, passed Binjing Garden, and went straight along Shing Mun River. There were many fish in the river, and sometimes they even jumped out of the water. In spring, flowers were everywhere. We saw the Hong Kong Rowing Association and turned right and went straight. There were pedestrian paths and bicycle paths beside Tate's Cairn Highway. We could rest at the Twin Bridges on the way, which is a resting place for cyclists. Keep going forward, passing the Sha Tin Sports Association Tai Shui Hang Cycling Park, and you will be close to the Ma On Shan Promenade. Passing the promenade, you can reach the Wu Kai Sha Pier. There are many families along the way. Children can get close to nature and enjoy the sea breeze. It takes about an hour to complete the slow walk. The road along the way is flat and easy to walk.
