New Thai Southeast Asian Restaurant (Kowloon City)

Having already tried the branch of "New Thai Southeast Asian Restaurant" in Tsim Sha Tsui, I still remember how outstanding their ingredients and flavors were. It's always packed with people, with long queues every night. Today, I visited their Airside branch in Kai Tak for dinner, and it was just as crowded. The decor is full of Thai-style charm, and the spacious seating area is very comfortable. 👍 ▪️ Satay Skewers (Chicken, Beef, Pork) A must-order for every table, freshly grilled upon order. Served hot and aromatic, each skewer is generously portioned with juicy meat. The chicken, beef, and pork are all grilled to perfection, with a crispy exterior and tender interior. Paired with the flavorful satay peanut sauce, it delivers an authentic Thai taste. ▪️ Thai Boneless Hainanese Chicken (Half) / Chicken Oil Rice The Thai-style Hainanese chicken rice features a generous portion of boneless chicken. The chicken skin is crispy, and the meat is tender and flavorful, even without any sauce. Of course, dipping it in Thai-style spicy sauce and ginger paste adds extra flavor. Paired with fragrant Thai chicken oil rice, it’s absolutely delicious. ▪️ Oven-Baked Mullet Fish The Thai-style oven-baked fish is served hot and whole, accompanied by soup. The flavor is a perfect balance of sour and spicy, with the fish meat absorbing the soup’s taste. The more you eat, the more appetizing it becomes. The aroma of lemongrass, galangal, chili, lime leaves, and celery is particularly prominent. ▪️ Mango Ice Cream with Sticky Rice Don’t miss the desserts here! This dish features fresh coconut meat scooped from a whole coconut, served with warm sticky rice, mango ice cream, fresh sweet mango, sweet coconut milk, and white sesame seeds. The combination of all these ingredients creates an incredibly delightful taste. ▪️ Fresh Coconut The fresh coconut is large and served chilled, with sweet coconut water that’s perfect for cooling down and quenching thirst. ▪️ Mango Smoothie Freshly blended mango smoothie with a rich texture and intense mango flavor.
