Don Don Ya's New Set Meals Starting at $48!

After school, we often take a day or two to relax and have lunch at the mall. Last week, we passed by Don Don Ya and discovered their new menu. The set meal options are diverse and reasonably priced, with the cheapest one starting at $48 🥰. We couldn’t wait to give it a try! The $48 "Cheese Crab Stick and Scrambled Egg Don Set" was unexpectedly delicious... even my two picky eaters said it was amazing 🤤‼️ Fresh crab sticks paired with scrambled eggs and rich cheese—an incredible combination! The portion size was generous, making the $48 price a delightful surprise. Grandma ordered the "Chicken Chikuzen-ni Set" and couldn’t stop praising it 👍. First, the presentation was exquisite and eye-catching. Second, the set included the main dish of Kyushu Fukuoka-style braised chicken along with a variety of side dishes (including salmon sashimi, tamago rolls, and salted grilled mackerel), making it very rich and satisfying. Third, the braised chicken was juicy and paired with lotus root, eggplant, pumpkin, and carrots, all soaked in a flavorful chicken sauce—absolutely mouthwatering. She said she’d have to eat less at dinner 😂. As for me, I ordered the "Two-Color Sashimi Don Set" 😋! The two-color sashimi featured salmon and tuna, with the rice topped with a generous amount of crab roe. Each bite was packed with a variety of seafood flavors! The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the slight searing brought out the fragrant fish oil aroma. The menu offers 14 choices, including Don Don Ya’s signature scrambled egg don, seafood don, fried don, udon, and grilled don options. Each set meal also comes with an appetizer, miso soup, dessert, and a drink. Drinks include coffee ☕️, fruit tea, lemon tea, or lemon water! After the meal, we felt the value for money was outstanding. Now we have another great dining option near our home 🫶🏻. Available at all branches (weekdays from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM).
