Guide to The Pier Business Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport

Located near Gate 65 at Hong Kong International Airport, The Pier Business Lounge, also known as "Yuheng Hall," is often regarded as the pinnacle of business lounges. Compared to Cathay Pacific's other two business lounges, The Pier is the largest and is divided into four main areas. First is the Western dining area, "Taste," which features a salad bar, Western dishes like pasta, and a selection of bread. Moving forward, you'll find the bar area, "Relax," offering a variety of red and white wines. You can also try Cathay Pacific's signature cocktail, the "Cathay Delight," a refreshing kiwi drink with mint leaves. Additionally, illy coffee is available. Next is the Asian dining area, "Flavor," which serves a variety of Chinese rice and noodle dishes. Options include BBQ pork rice, roasted meat rice, wonton noodles, and dan dan noodles. There are also several Chinese dim sum items like smashed cucumber, siu mai, and more. If you can't handle a full meal, you can order noodles and ask the staff to add a few slices of BBQ pork or roasted meat. The roasted meat here is particularly noteworthy, with crispy skin that surpasses the usual offerings at BBQ shops. Finally, the most famous area is the "Tea House." This space is incredibly tranquil, featuring a Zen-inspired Chinese decor style, making it perfect for enjoying tea at a leisurely pace. There's also a self-service fresh juice station and a selection of pastries like Portuguese tarts, butterfly cookies, walnut cookies, and wife cakes. I ordered a pot of Jasmine Pearl tea and spent over an hour here. This area is truly unique to The Pier.
