Cathay Pacific Lounges Ranked! A Real Experience of The Deck vs The Wing.

Years later, I revisited Cathay Pacific's The Deck lounge and was absolutely blown away! The variety of food has doubled, and despite the crowd, the experience remains top-notch. The signature Dan Dan noodles still have that unforgettable soul-stirring flavor, with rich sesame sauce that makes you want to recreate it on the spot! The crispy roast pork is divine—its skin crackles audibly, and the meat is perfectly balanced, fatty but not greasy, delivering a heavenly bite! On the other hand, the char siu was dry and tough; I recommend ordering just the meat without rice. Due to a last-minute gate change, I rushed to The Wing lounge and was immediately disappointed! I tried the tomato rice noodles, which aren't available at The Deck, but they were bland and tasteless—worse than airplane food 😭. The space felt overly bright and cramped, lacking the comfort of The Deck. 📍Key points: The Deck is located at Gate 65, while The Wing is opposite Gate 2. Business class passengers can only access the business section, so make sure you don't go to the wrong lounge! Next time I fly Cathay Pacific, I'm willing to renew my loyalty just for the food and ambiance at The Deck. Waiting for a flight while indulging in happiness—this is the right way to travel!
