Having visited Hong Kong multiple times, this time I tried some new places I hadn't been to before, and overall, they were all excellent! 【Tsim Sha Tsui Area】 1. "Hong Kong Tea House" Staying near Tsim Sha Tsui, I came here because my usual go-to cha chaan teng had closed. This is more of a modern-style tea restaurant. I visited twice, and each time there was a short queue (3-5 minutes). The service is fast-paced, portions are generous, and it offers great value for money. - "Satay Beef Noodle Breakfast": The beef is tender and slightly sweet, with a light and non-greasy broth. - "Pineapple Bun": The pineapple bun with butter is a perfect match. - "Curry Breaded Pork Chop": The pork chop is huge—almost too much for one person. The curry has a creamy flavor. 2. "Ichiran Ramen (Tsim Sha Tsui Branch)" I had a great impression from my last visit, so I brought friends this time. We ordered the 10x spicy level. The ramen texture is perfectly controlled, though it's pricey. 3. "Hua Cha Tea House (Tsim Sha Tsui Branch)" The longest wait—about 30-40 minutes, mostly tourists. - "Pork Chop Pineapple Bun": Crispy pineapple bun with a large pork chop and honey mustard sauce, offering rich flavors. - "Tomato Thick Soup with Chicken Wings and Pork Chop Macaroni": The tomato broth is rich and authentic, with generous portions of meat on top. 【Bakehouse】 No food tour is complete without dessert! I randomly picked a few items, all quite sweet but delicious. 【Mong Kok Area】 Mong Kok is known for its street food. I visited Sneaker Street and also checked out a nearby Michelin-recommended spot. - "Sister Wah Snack Shop" Ordered the "Emperor Set" with cuttlefish, small intestines, and turkey kidney. The cold skewers are drizzled with soy sauce and honey mustard. The mustard is extremely strong—almost overwhelming. Not for the faint-hearted; my friend couldn't handle even one bite. A unique local delicacy! 【Causeway Bay Area】 1. "Kau Kee Beef Brisket (Sheung Wan Branch)" My favorite spot this trip! Mostly frequented by local office workers after hours. The place is small, so you might need to queue if you arrive late. - "Curry Beef Tendon Brisket Yee Mein": A must for curry lovers! The beef tendon is gelatinous and tender, and the noodles are soaked in rich curry sauce. Even non-noodle fans finished a whole bowl. - "Clear Soup Beef Brisket Yee Mein": The broth is flavorful, and the beef is very tender. 2. "URBAN BAKERY WORKS (Landmark Branch)" Decent, worth a try if you're nearby, but not a must-visit.
