Harbour Plaza North Point: a double-faced hotel

The hotel is located at 665 King's Road, North Point, close to Prosperity Millennium Plaza, AIA Hong Kong Building, North Point Police Station, Civil Service College and Hong Kong Funeral Home, etc. It is about 3 minutes' walk straight from Exit C of Model Lane, Quarry Bay MTR Station. There are also many restaurants and food shops nearby, which is very convenient! The hotel looks like a commercial and residential hotel from the outside, with a glass exterior that is quite eye-catching, but the interior decoration of the room is more traditional and a bit old, which is inconsistent and a bit disappointing! The hotel reception is on the 2nd floor. You have to take the escalator up the underground floor. The receptionist has a good service attitude! Just pay a $500 deposit, grab the key card and you can go to your room. Check in and out is quick and smooth! The room was arranged on the 26th floor. It was bigger than expected, but the layout was traditional and old-fashioned without any special features. General facilities such as free bottled water, environmentally friendly paper slippers, safe, small refrigerator, large TV, hair dryer, electric kettle, coffee and tea bags were all available! The bed is a king-size bed made from two single beds joined together! The bed and pillows are also comfortable! However, there is no power socket near the bedside, nor a lamp to control the lighting in the room, which is quite inconvenient and I have to deduct points for it. Fortunately, there is a secret compartment on the desk that contains a row of sockets and a USB charging socket, which does add points! The bathroom and toilet are separated by glass doors for dry and wet areas, which is more hygienic. There is only a rain shower! Toiletries and towels of all sizes are available, but unfortunately the room doesn't have my favorite bathtub! The hotel as a whole is just okay, no surprises!
