🏢Former Fanling Magistrates' Courts (above)

It rains a lot in summer, and the air is filled with a damp smell and a hint of stuffiness⛱. That day, my boyfriend and I went to Fanling to look for lost relics🛕 Start from Exit C of Fanling MTR Station, cross the overpass, and walk for about 5 minutes. I picked up the navigation on my phone and found that I had arrived at my destination. 🚪The gate is not conspicuous, the building is about 2 stories high, standing quietly not far away🏙. It seems as if I have never waited for anyone to discover me nor expected anyone to come in😌. Maybe only occasionally some residents passing by would come in and take a look out of curiosity. Even though it is the weekend, it is still quiet. After walking through the gate and scanning the LeaveHomeSafe app, two staff members welcomed us in for a visit☺️ After entering, you will come to a lawn⛳️, in the middle of which is a swing made of an uneven wooden board🪵. It looks like it was made from local materials and should be quite old. Go further and you will see the grass covered with electronic lights💡. It should be very romantic when the lights are turned on at night💕 After turning a corner, you can see the entrance of the building. The decoration inside should have been renovated and it looks quite new 🏫. The first floor is a small courtroom with wooden floors and tables and chairs, which is exactly the same as the layout seen in TV dramas. Although more than 600 years have passed, it still seems to have retained the solemnity and seriousness of a court. In the past, some minor criminal cases of Fanling villagers were usually heard here. Each area corresponds to someone's seat. For example, the audience seats, the judge's seats, the clerk's seats, the defendant's seats, the lawyer's seats, the defendant's seat and so on. Sitting on the judge's bench 👩‍⚖️, with a gold-plated seat sign in front of me, I can really satisfy my judge addiction 😄🥰 #Hong Kong good places #Historical buildings #Dating good places
