Kam Wah Cafe is located at 45-47 Bute Street, Mongkok, and is open daily from 0630-2100. It is around 4 minutes 300 meters from both Mong Kok and Prince Edward Mrt station.
Kam Wah Cafe can be easily spotted due to the crowds outside the restaurant taking away the delicious Polo Bun and other pastries. 
The Polo Bun here is crispy, best to go with a hot milk tea. They also serve main dishes like stir fried beef rice noodle, yangzhou fried rice and many more.

來香港怎麼能不來體驗最道地的冰廳呢？我們選擇拜訪位在太子站的金華冰廳，一入店就被得獎海報🏆西多士所吸引，當然馬上來一份，另外也點了一份菠蘿油，還有店內低消每人點一杯熱港奶。

剛出爐微熱的菠蘿麵包酥皮散發著奶油香氣，麵包表皮微脆本身很鬆軟，加上熱度融化中間夾的那片厚厚冰冰的鹹牛油，超級好吃😋。

西多士是吐司沾滿蛋液下去炸，中間夾著牛油與花生醬，上面放著奶油、淋上蜂蜜，一咬下就感受得到蛋香，以及油炸的香氣，熱度又與蜂蜜、奶油、花生醬搭配得剛好，是令人難忘的味道。

港奶的部分茶味比較重，我是喜歡加入一點點糖，對我來說比較不會那麼澀，不過搭配菠蘿油及西多士是滿解膩的。在有點微涼的天氣，以高熱量食物作為一天的開始，也是滿幸福的！

How can you come to Hong Kong and not experience the most authentic ice hall? We chose to visit Jinhua Ice Hall located at Prince Edward Station. As soon as we entered the store, we were attracted by the award-winning poster 🏆 French toast. Of course, we ordered one right away, and also ordered a pineapple bun, and a cup of hot Hong Kong milk per person as a minimum consumption in the store.

The slightly warm pineapple bread crust just out of the oven exudes a creamy aroma, the bread itself is soft and crispy on the surface, and the heat melts the thick slice of icy salted butter in the middle, it's super delicious😋.

French toast is made of toast dipped in egg liquid and fried, with butter and peanut butter in the middle, topped with cream and drizzled with honey. You can smell the aroma of egg and frying when you bite it. The heat is just right with the honey, cream and peanut butter, creating an unforgettable taste.

The Hong Kong milk has a stronger tea flavor. I like to add a little bit of sugar, which makes it less astringent for me. However, it is quite refreshing when paired with pineapple buns and French toast. In the slightly cool weather, it is quite a blessing to start the day with high-calorie food!

莫得食喇，就近打卡網紅金華冰廳囖！

終於吃到了公司三明治烤底、
還有最緊俏的菠蘿包--香港人叫菠蘿油，
雖不是熱騰騰的剛出爐，
舌尖上一舔，是啊！
到底是四年來魂牽夢縈的滋味…
好食！

【暴走香港】從又一城到香葉道，打卡金華冰廳菠蘿包～

Once yesterday, once today, 
traveled back and forth between Admiralty, Wong Chuk Hang, Kim Yip Road, Yue Kwong Road, 
then walked from Prince Edward Station to Mong Kok East, Prince Edward Road, Sai Yee Street, 
then to Bute Street, Kam Wah Ice House... 
It was just that the interior of the Yuen Long Ice House that the two of us missed was under maintenance, 
so we couldn't eat there, so we checked in at the popular Kam Wah Ice House nearby!

Finally I got to eat the company's sandwich toasted bottom,
and the most popular pineapple buns - Hong Kong people call them pineapple buns,
although they were not hot out of the oven,
I licked them on the tip of my tongue, yes!
It is the taste that I have been dreaming about for four years...
Delicious!

Kam Wah Cafe is located around Mong Kok MTR. Take exit B3, turn left, walk a block down and turn right. It’s located at 45-47 Bute Street. 

The whole cafe is famous for the kind of milk and cream that they use for all of their dishes! They even have pictures of cattle at the farms they get the milk from. And if you’re a big fan of dairy in general, you’re going to love this place. From the butter used on their french toast to the milk they add into their milk tea, it is all an enjoyable time.

This place is particularly popular with the locals. We went in during tea time but the place was still filled with people having a snack, late lunch or early dinner. The cafe culture in HK is so different from what you’d expect if you come from places like Singapore, Australia or the States.

Recommendation for this place: Order the milk tea when you’re here. Soak in the bustling vibes of the cafe.

Kam Wah Café is one of the oldest traditional coffeeshops in Hong Kong, famous among both locals and tourists. It is well known for its freshly baked Polo (Pineapple) Bun. The skin was super crispy, tasted heavenly with the cold butter inside. You can see people buy in bulk. It was named Pineapple Bun because of its look, there was no pineapple inside. For drinks, it is a must to try their Yuan Yang (coffee mixed with tea), smooth and full of aroma. Perfect match with the bun. Their egg tart is very tasty too. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

It was my mom first trip to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 During our short trip to Victoria Peak, we explored some of the best spots for breathtaking views and photography 📸 The panoramic skyline of Hong Kong from the peak is simply stunning, especially during sunset or nighttime when the city lights up 🌆 I would highly recommend taking the Peak Tram for a scenic and exciting ride up! 🚋

One of our favorite spots was Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing platform in Hong Kong 🌃 From here, we captured the city’s towering skyscrapers, Victoria Harbour, and even the distant mountains ⛰️ We visited just before sunset, and the golden hues over the city were unforgettable. ✨

We also explored the Lugard Road Lookout, a hidden gem for photography lovers 🏞️ This short, scenic walk offers one of the best panoramic views of Hong Kong, especially if you’re looking for a quieter spot away from the crowds. ✨初見印象
踏入香港瑰麗酒店的一刻，就被它的大宅式入口和圓石路深深吸引。穿過這條小路，城市的喧鬧瞬間消失，取而代之的是青蔥的景觀花園和寧靜的前院。那一刻，我彷彿從繁華的尖沙咀穿越到了一個私密的世外桃源，心情也跟著舒緩下來。


🏨極致奢華的客房
香港瑰麗酒店的客房真的讓我驚艷。每間房間都寬敞明亮，面積由53平方米起，而且設計非常精緻。我入住的房間有超大的落地窗，拉開窗簾，維多利亞港的壯麗景色就映入眼簾，那種震撼真的難以言喻。房間內的細節也很貼心，從柔軟的寢具到全套奢華的盥洗用品，每一處都讓人感受到酒店的用心。


🍔美食之旅
香港瑰麗酒店的餐飲絕對是一大亮點。酒店設有11間餐廳和酒廊，每一家都有獨特的風格。我最喜歡的是「Holt's Cafe」，這裡的菜式融合了傳統與現代的元素，每一道菜都像藝術品，讓人不忍下筷。還有「The Butterfly Room」，雖然它正在裝修，但酒店安排我們在「The Pantry」享用早餐，同樣美味。


🏊‍♀️天際泳池的浪漫
酒店的無邊際泳池是必到打卡的地方。泳池位於6樓，在25米長的泳池邊，您可以一邊游泳，一邊欣賞維港的無敵海景。我在這裡待了很久，看著夕陽灑在水面上，波光粼粼，那一刻，所有的疲憊都煙消雲散了。


🎨藝術與文化的交融
香港瑰麗酒店不僅是一家酒店，更像是一座藝術館。酒店內隨處可見精美的藝術收藏，每一幅畫、每一件雕塑都有自己的故事。我還參加了酒店的藝術探索之旅，跟著藝術大使深入了解這些作品背後的文化和歷史，收穫滿滿。

As soon as I stepped into the Rosewood Hong Kong, I was captivated by its mansion-like entrance and cobblestone path. Walking through this path, the hustle and bustle of the city instantly disappeared, replaced by a lush landscape garden and a tranquil courtyard. At that moment, it felt like I had been transported from the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui to a secluded paradise, and my mood immediately relaxed.

The rooms at the Rosewood Hong Kong truly amazed me. Each room is spacious and bright, starting from 53 square meters, and exquisitely designed. My room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows.  Drawing back the curtains revealed the magnificent Victoria Harbour view—a truly breathtaking sight. The attention to detail in the room was also impressive, from the soft bedding to the full set of luxury toiletries, everything made me feel the hotel's dedication to guest comfort.


🍔A Culinary Journey
Dining at the Rosewood Hong Kong is definitely a highlight. The hotel boasts 11 restaurants and lounges, each with its own unique style. My favorite was The Legacy House, where the dishes blend traditional and modern elements. Each dish was like a work of art, almost too beautiful to eat.  Holt's Cafe was under renovation, but the hotel arranged for us to have breakfast at Butterfly Patisserie, which was equally delicious.


🏊‍♀️Romance at the Sky-High Pool
The hotel's infinity pool is a must-visit. Located on the 6th floor, the 25-meter-long pool offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour while you swim. I spent a long time here, watching the sunset shimmer on the water.  At that moment, all my fatigue vanished.


🎨The Fusion of Art and Culture
The Rosewood Hong Kong is more than just a hotel; it's like an art museum. Exquisite art collections are displayed throughout the hotel, and every painting and sculpture has its own story. I also participated in the hotel's art discovery tour, where an art ambassador guided us through the cultural and historical background of these works. It was a truly enriching experience.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! It's situated in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, just a few minutes' walk from the MTR station. 🔸榮獲香港首個建築獎項 彩虹村於1962年至1964年相繼落成，是香港當時最大型公共屋村，由香港屋宇建設委員會發展，著名的巴馬丹拿建築及工程師有限公司設計，融入巴浩斯（Bauhaus）風格元素，空間布局見駛、具美感，令彩虹村於1965年榮獲香港首個建築獎項——香港建築師學會銀牌獎，至今在觀塘道入口處仍可見到獎牌。

🔸彩虹村籃球場打卡熱點 想影「彩虹牆」，走上位於停車場上蓋的彩虹村籃球場是絕佳打卡位置！在三面「彩虹牆」環繞下，可以拍攝出不同角度的照片，難怪成為近年的大熱打卡景點，有人更曾在此取景奪得國際攝影獎，吸引更多遊客慕名而來。

🔸屋村老店屹立近60年 彩虹村最著名的老字號是金碧酒家，由阮氏一家經營，始祖老闆阮秋（秋叔）早在1943年已在牛池灣開業，後來搬到彩虹村後才易名「金碧酒家」。秋叔在彩虹村經常為村內居民謀福祉，幾乎無人不識。「上海華麗理髮公司」屹立近60年。推門而入，仿如踏進時光隧道。+11行前幾個鋪位會見到「李應記鐘表鋪」，門面懸掛了一個行濕電的經典大鐘。店內古老格局，左邊賣眼鏡，右邊賣鐘表，並設有驗眼室，頂上還有兩幅人像老照片，有傳統家門的氣派。另一必到老店是「上海華麗理髮公司」，推門而入，仿如踏進時光隧道，回到上海理髮廳的錦繡年華里。有阿飛年代的風筒、開剃須水的鐵箱、從日本入口的舊式理髮椅等。

⛳️Chung Hung Estate is located in Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon, close to MTR [Chung Hung] Station, Exit C3, and you can enter the estate from the northeast exit.
🔸Won the first architectural award in Hong Kong Choi Hung Estate was completed between 1962 and 1964. It was the largest public housing estate in Hong Kong at that time. It was developed by the Hong Kong Building Authority and designed by the famous P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd. It incorporated Bauhaus style elements. The spatial layout is clear and beautiful, which won Choi Hung Estate the first architectural award in Hong Kong in 1965 - the Silver Medal of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects. The medal can still be seen at the entrance of Kwun Tong Road.

🔸Rainbow Village Basketball Court Check-in Hotspot If you want to take a picture of the "Rainbow Wall", the Rainbow Village Basketball Court located on top of the parking lot is a great check-in location! Surrounded by three "rainbow walls", you can take photos from different angles. No wonder it has become a popular check-in spot in recent years. Some people have even won international photography awards for taking photos here, attracting more tourists.

🔸Streets and buildings are named after colors There are 11 buildings in the village, namely Ziwei Building, Danfeng Building, Lujing Building, Baixue Building, Cuiqiong Building, Hong'e Building, Bihai Building, Jinyun Building, Jinbi Building, Jinhua Building and Jinhan Building, all of which are related to colors. At the same time, there are 7 roads in the village, all of which are named after the seven colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and purple, such as Hongmei Road, Chenghua Road, Huangju Road, Lvliu Road, Qingyang Road, Lanzhong Road and Ziwei Road.

🔸Many international celebrities visited As Choi Hung Village was the largest public housing estate in Hong Kong in the 1960s, it attracted many international celebrities to visit, including former US Vice President Nixon in 1964, Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom in 1966, and Hong Kong Governor Murray MacLehose.

🔸The old shop in Wu Village has stood for nearly 60 years. The most famous old shop in Rainbow Village is Jinbi Restaurant, which is run by the Nguyen family. The original owner Nguyen Qiu (Uncle Qiu) opened the restaurant in Ngau Chi Wan as early as 1943, and later moved to Rainbow Village before changing its name to "Jinbi Restaurant". Uncle Qiu often works for the welfare of the villagers in Rainbow Village, and almost everyone knows him. "Shanghai Huali Barber Company" has been in existence for nearly 60 years. Pushing the door open, it feels like stepping into a time tunnel. A few shops ahead of +11 Row, you will see the "Lee Ying Kee Watch Shop", with a classic large clock hanging on the door. The store has an old-fashioned layout, with glasses on the left and watches on the right. It also has an eye examination room and two old portraits on the ceiling, giving it the style of a traditional family. Another must-visit shop is the Shanghai Huali Barber Shop. Pushing the door, it feels like stepping into a time tunnel and returning to the golden age of Shanghai barbershops. There are hair dryers from the gangster era, iron boxes for shaving water, and old-fashioned barber chairs imported from Japan.

想到最近幾年南京突然就變成網紅城市了，身為土著的我好像還沒介紹過，想想大家可能在這裡訂行程，就順便給大家安利一下，純本地介紹，沒有任何推薦的意思。。。
首先來南京，公共交通出行完全沒有問題，只是部分景區最近人超級多，玄武湖、中山陵、紀念館、博物館。風景園林方面，玄武湖可以算必打卡了，泛舟湖上，小船兒推開波浪，愜意，160 左右一艘船。剛開通的 7 號線無人駕駛，連接東西，南湖附近不少居民美食，只是現在人也不少。
紅廟地區，也就是珠江路附近，靠近雞鳴寺和玄武湖，也是最近人不少的吃喝地，有廣式甜點，也有當地小吃餛飩。
中央路和中山北路上有最近很火的香港仔茶餐廳，也很不錯，開了很多年了品質也一直線上。
南京屬於江浙滬皖地區，淮揚菜也算主打，金陵宴、小廚娘等等，豐儉由人。不過想吃的特色點，肯定是不太便宜的，因為最近火的手拆魚臉，和河豚之類都不便宜，主要以個客為主。當然老街區，上海路、廣州路、石鼓路附近都有特色吃食，就看大家如何選擇。附近也都有不少留學生，所以各國美食也都有的。我就很喜歡巷子裡的手工披薩，在南師大附近，很不錯哦。
總之，城市遊，就是愜意，慢慢走，慢慢看，走走吃吃，不一定非要進大的店也能感受到城市美食氣息。。。希望大家喜歡。

真的不來南京吃一趟嗎？

Nanjing has become a popular tourist destination in recent years. As a local, I haven't really introduced it before. Since you might be booking your trip here, I'll give you a brief overview. This is purely a local's perspective, not a recommendation...
First of all, public transportation in Nanjing is very convenient. However, some scenic spots, such as Xuanwu Lake, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the Memorial Hall, and museums, have been extremely crowded recently. As for scenic gardens, Xuanwu Lake is a must-see. Boating on the lake is quite relaxing, with boats costing around 160 RMB. The newly opened Line 7 is driverless and connects the east and west of the city. There are many local restaurants near Nanhu Lake, but they are also quite crowded now.
The Hongmiao area, near Zhujiang Road, is close to Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Lake. It's also a popular spot for food and drinks, offering Cantonese desserts and local snacks like wontons.
On Zhongyang Road and Zhongshan North Road, there's the popular Hong Kong Boy Cha Chaan Teng, which has been around for many years and consistently offers good quality.
Nanjing is located in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Anhui region, so Huaiyang cuisine is a staple. There are various options, from Jinling Feast to Xiao Chuniang, catering to different budgets. However, if you want to try the local specialties, it won't be cheap. Recently popular dishes like hand-shredded fish face and pufferfish are quite pricey, mainly served individually. Of course, there are also many local delicacies in old neighborhoods like Shanghai Road, Guangzhou Road, and Shigu Road. It all depends on your preferences. There are also many international students in these areas, so you can find a variety of international cuisines. I personally love the handmade pizza in the alley near Nanjing Normal University. It's really good.
In short, city tours are all about taking it easy, strolling around, and enjoying the food. You don't have to go to fancy restaurants to experience the city's culinary scene. I hope you enjoy your time here.
