We recently stayed at Anantara Hua Hin, and while it’s slightly off the beaten path, it turned out to be a refreshing, relaxing stay — exactly what we needed. The resort is about 20 minutes from downtown Hua Hin, but it’s no big deal, a Grab ride costs around 120 baht (3,5 Usd), making it easy and affordable to get to the night market or local cafés when you want a change of scene. The Resort Vibe Anantara Hua Hin is a 5-star resort, though not overwhelmingly large — and honestly, we liked it that way. It has a calm, tropical vibe with lots of greenery and peaceful corners. Tip:Book the Deluxe Sea View Room if you can. Waking up to the sight of the ocean? Total mood-booster. Facilities The swimming pool is big and inviting, perfect for a dip anytime. There’s also a gym, although its location is a bit odd — it’s near the resort’s front gate, not within the central grounds. Still, it does the job if you want a quick workout. For families, there's a kids club available, a nice bonus if you are traveling with the little ones. The staff were all incredibly friendly. I especially loved that the check-in was done seated— such a small touch, but it really makes you feel welcomed and relaxed from the start. Breakfast Breakfast is decent and satisfying, though nothing extravagant. The setup is entirely outdoors, so it's a good idea to head there earlier in the morning while it’s still cool. You’ll find the usual mix of Thai and Western options, and it’s enough to start your day happy and full. A Small Note on Nature One minor hiccup, there were some ants in our room.
