Field Evaluation of Yuanfu Rice Paddy Farm

I enjoy traveling with like-minded friends and family, staying in many nearby homestays, and providing organized and genuine reviews in hopes of helping everyone. Huangmei Yuanfu Rice Paddy Farm Transportation: It takes about 2.5 hours to drive from downtown Wuhan, with 2 hours on the highway and national road, plus about 20 minutes on the national and country roads. The roads are wide and self-driving is worry-free, with nice scenery along the way. The owner, Old Yuan, is quite a character and interesting. Accommodation: The entire farm is divided into reception, accommodation, public, and play areas, with a super unique green train (a real train that has been repurposed). Our group of four families stayed in the most distinctive four triangular houses. The interior of the triangular houses is two stories: the first floor is the living room and bathroom, with a fireplace, sofa, and TV in the living room, and a dry-wet separated bathroom with a bathtub. Upstairs are tatami-style beds with great views of the rice paddies outside in spring, summer, and autumn. We visited during Christmas, and staying in the triangular houses was very festive. Dining: Breakfast is included in the room rate, while lunch and dinner are ordered separately and charged individually. The restaurant is inside the train carriage, which is very interesting. There is also a restaurant in the public area for breakfast and evening parties, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a triangular roof, fulfilling all your desired vibes. It's just a few minutes' walk from the triangular houses, along winding paths through the rice paddies. The prices are reasonable. The breakfast is nutritious, made from farm-produced rice and grains, and the lunch and dinner feature local flavors as well as Western cuisine, which is quite tasty. Surrounding Activities: This is a large homestay with very complete facilities and mature services. Various plots are divided between the major areas to grow rice and various organic vegetables. There's also a popular check-in spot, the Lonely Coffee House. Nearby, there is a reservoir with professional tutors who take children to learn about the origin of rice and explore the village's water sources. There's also a train head party room with many board games for older children. The public restaurant has KTV, calligraphy, and game areas, so there's no worry about having nothing to do. Cost-Effectiveness: It's a bit expensive, especially on weekends or holidays, but for a short two to three-day stay with complete facilities and fun, it's a good choice. In summary, this place is very suitable for several families to spend weekends or short holidays together. You don't have to worry about the kids as there are professional tutors who combine education with entertainment. Before leaving, you can also buy some special organic germ rice or regular rice.
