The ancient building homestay in Huangshan, southern Anhui is worth visiting.

On the recommendation of an old friend, I came to Huangshan Manyuan Jianshan B&B. I used to work in a related industry and was the manager of a small mid- to high-end hotel in Lin'an, Hangzhou. I have seen many aesthetic spaces and designer B&Bs, and I have many designer friends around me. I didn't come here with high expectations, but when I arrived at the door of Manyuan Jianshan B&B, I was deeply attracted by the combination of ancient architecture and modern technology. As far as I know, blue bricks, black tiles and horse-head walls are the characteristics of Huizhou architecture. When I checked in at the front desk, I was shocked by the "winter melon beam" on the ceiling of the lobby. The housekeeper took me on a tour and introduced that the wooden beams on the ceiling of the lobby were rebuilt using mortise and tenon joint technology using wood of a certain age found by the designer and the boss. The original building was the ancient residence of Zhu Zhishan's maternal relatives. There is a bar counter in the front hall, as well as a book bar in a small area, tea tables, and a Zen tea pavilion on the first and third floors. The room facilities also have certain standards, the quality of the bedding and art supplies are also very good, which completely exceeded my psychological expectations, and the price is also reasonable. There is also a garden courtyard outdoors, which makes you feel like you are in the Suzhou gardens. It is a unique feeling to sway your wine glass at the bar and smoke a cigar in the garden corridor at night. Because of my profession, when I am a guest, I have higher requirements for my peers, but I am quite satisfied with this B&B. It is worth staying here. Many corners are good for taking photos. It is also suitable for one or two people to stay here and relax from the fatigue caused by work. As for the surrounding area, you can visit ancient ruins and go rafting by the stream. It is also very convenient to drive by yourself. It is only a few minutes away from the highway exit, ten minutes from the high-speed rail station to the homestay, and half an hour from the airport. It is very convenient.
