Among the transit hotels in Male, it is definitely a luxury for the rich! 👑 🛫 How to choose a transit hotel when a late flight lands? I took a late Singapore Airlines flight to Male and landed at 10:30 pm, so it was impossible to go to the island. Therefore, it is extremely important to find a reliable transit hotel! 🔥 My preferred criteria: 1. Airport pick-up is a must! Looking for a hotel in the middle of the night with your luggage? It’s tiring just thinking about it! Fortunately, Ocean Grand provides airport pick-up and drop-off service, which makes it very worry-free! 2. Clean and tidy! When you are away from home, a good night's sleep is the most important thing! 🏨Ocean Grand first experience: I booked it on a certain platform and even called customer service to confirm the airport pick-up. I have no hope for my obsessive compulsive disorder 😂. After the hotel replied to the email confirmation, I felt much more at ease! 🚗 Airport pick-up episode: As soon as I got out of the airport, I saw many staff members holding signs. I looked around but couldn't find the Ocean Grand sign. After asking, I found out that Samann and it are owned by the same owner and under the same management. After waiting for a while, I got on the car with other guests. The business car was quite new and we arrived at the hotel in 15 minutes! The lobby has a wooden style and a light scent of spices which is super nice! Welcome drink and hand towels, these little details really add points! Although the room is a bit small, it is clean and tidy, and the bedding is super comfortable, perfect for catching up on sleep! The soundproofing is not very good, but my side is not close to the road, so I slept well! 🍳 Breakfast praise: The restaurant on the 7th floor has a terrace with a first-line sea view, it’s so beautiful! Although the dishes are not many, they are enough to satisfy you! The omelet I ordered was more like an omelet, and it was super delicious with cheese in it! 🚶‍♀️Wandering around: The hotel is right across from the beach, where residents are swinging and swimming. It’s a super chill atmosphere! We set off back to Male Airport to go to the island at noon. The hotel arranged the drop-off time in advance, which was very thoughtful! 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 Full marks for service: From carrying luggage at the airport to checking in at the hotel, to serving in the breakfast room, the staff were all very enthusiastic and professional!
