Ikueya is a long-established Japanese sweets shop located in Ikoma, a popular spot for outings in Osaka. It is located a 3-minute walk from Ikoma Station, and the atmosphere of a famous shop exudes from the appearance. A variety of Japanese sweets perfect for souvenirs, and an eat-in space in the back is also great for a short break. The specialty of this shop is botamochi. The character "takara" has a dot on it, and it is written as "takara mochi" and read as botamochi. A set of two large and heavy botamochi with tsubuan and smooth bean paste is reasonably priced at 730 yen. There are no preservatives and no additives, so the expiration date is today. They are very large, but the sweetness is not cloying at all, so you can eat them all in one go.
