Iksan city: The Mire

Iksan city: The Mireuksa Temple was the largest of the Baekje Kingdom. Currently there are two stone pagodas in the Mireuksa Temple site (National Treasure No. 11), the West pagoda is 14 meters tall while the East one is 27 meters as the West one hasn’t been totally restored. On site there’re also flagpole supports (National Treasure No. 236). Because of these treasures, plus the relics found in the site, makes this a historic landmark... don’t miss it if you have interest in korean history. #merrychristmas #travelinspiration #historicallandmarks #scenicspotguide #worldheritage #merrychristmas

Wanggung Five-story Stone Pagoda

When visiting the city of Iksan, don’t miss the opportunity to watch the National Treasure No. 289, the Wanggung Five-story Stone Pagoda. You’ll learn also that relics from the Goryeo Dynasty were found inside this pagoda and are now designated as National Treasure No. 123. This is a great chance to take magnificent photos about one of the most important historic sites in Korea, but also you can learn new historic facts about Korean Dynasties. #merrychristmas #travelinspiration #historicallandmarks #scenicspotguide #worldheritage #merrychristmas
