A Little Pain, A Lotta View

#summervacay Cheonmasan isn’t the tallest or the toughest mountain out there, but don’t let that fool you, it’s definitely a “feel it in your legs tomorrow” kind of hike. Things start off nice and chill, with forest trails and fresh air, but then the incline sneaks up on you and suddenly you’re breaking a sweat and wondering if this was a good idea. That said, it’s 100% worth it. The path is super scenic, with plenty of trees, a few rocky spots, and rest areas along the way if you need to catch your breath or snack mid-climb. And when you finally reach the top? The views are gorgeous, rolling mountains, wide skies, and that awesome “I actually did it” moment. It’s popular but never feels overcrowded, and there are a few different trails depending on how ambitious (or tired) you’re feeling. Just bring water, comfy shoes, and some snacks to celebrate at the summit. Cheonmasan delivers the perfect mix of challenge and reward. Would definitely hike again, with better calves next time.
