Autumn Wind and Autumn Leaves Inuyama Castle

Inuyama Castle🏯, built in the Edo period, although only the stone wall and Tenshukaku are left now, it is the oldest of the twelve existing Tenshukaku in Japan, with a history of more than 500 years. It is also one of the five Tenshukaku designated as national treasures, and is of great historical value. Inuyama Castle is located on a hill beside the Kiso River. The white Tenshukaku and the surrounding mountains, rivers and forests form a beautiful landscape that can be seen from a distance. At night, under the light and shadow, there is another view. Visitors can climb to the top of the Tenshukaku and walk around the periphery to enjoy the scenery of Inuyama City from a 360-degree high altitude. Some treasured cultural relics are also exhibited in the Tenshukaku, including samurai armor from the Japanese Warring States Period, as well as historical materials of the castle lords of successive dynasties.
