Location: A river that starts in Nagano Prefecture, flows through Gifu Prefecture, Aichi Prefecture, and Mie Prefecture, with a length of about 229km. Place of interest: Scenery near Inuyama Castle: The Kiso River that flows behind the castle is truly picturesque and is a famous photo spot. Ukai (鵜飼, cormorant fishing): The traditional fishing performance held in the summer (May to October) is famous. It is operated as a tourist attraction in Inuyama and Gifu in particular. One of the Kiso Three Rivers (木曽三川), it is a major river that flows near Nagoya (the other two rivers are the Nagara River and the Ibi River). If you like natural scenery, I highly recommend the Kiso River cruise, hiking course, and river scenery from Inuyama Castle. 😊
