Visit Inuyama Castle during Cherry Blossom Season

If you're planning to visit Inuyama Castle during the cherry blossom season, here's a recommended route for cherry blossom enthusiasts. Take the Meitetsu train from Nagoya Station to Inuyama Yuen Station. Upon exiting, you'll see a large bridge. Cross the Inuyama Bridge and follow the cherry blossom-lined path along the Kiso River. This path will lead you all the way to the base of Inuyama Castle, surrounded by cherry blossoms. If the blossoms are in full bloom, the view is even more stunning. In a few days, it should be even more beautiful! Unfortunately, we missed the annual Inuyama Festival, which takes place this weekend on the 6th and 7th, as we have already returned. It would have been interesting to attend! Inuyama Castle is very popular, attracting many Japanese visitors. Even on weekdays, there is a queue to enter, so visiting on a weekday is the best way to avoid the crowds.
