This shrine is not just any old spot; it’s super sacred for the Shintos, dedicated to the sun goddess. You can feel the vibes the moment you step in. The whole place is wrapped in this magical forest, and the paths are lined with massive ancient trees that make you feel like you’re wandering through a fantasy movie. There are two main shrines, Naiku and Geku, and both are stunning in their own way. You’ll want to take a moment to soak it all in. Oh, and if you're into hiking, there are some epic trails nearby! The trail in the area is 40 mins uphill with some inclination. You can hit up the surrounding hills for killer views and some fresh air.
