The Mangrove Forest of Fukido River on Ishigaki Island

Located in the northern part of Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture, the Fukido River Mangrove Forest is a beautiful subtropical mangrove area that can only be seen in the southern regions of Japan! There are several tours available, and we joined a tour by Ishigaki Island Activity Club, which offers an exclusive experience for one group at a time, allowing us to enjoy both the sea and the mangroves, along with high-quality drone footage! We had a wonderful time on a private tour amidst the lush green mangroves and the clear blue sea! If you visit Ishigaki Island, we highly recommend checking it out at least once!
