My dears, I've struck gold this time! During my trip to Japan, I stumbled upon Takenoya Ryokan, and it was a huge surprise! 📍Location: The ryokan is right near the main gate of Izumo Taisha Shrine, only a 1-minute walk away. The rooms are a blend of Japanese and Western styles. I stayed in the Narcissus Room on the 3rd floor, which had both the warmth of tatami mats and the comfort of Western bedding. It was super comfortable to sleep in. And it's said that this is the former residence of singer-songwriter Mariya Takeuchi. 💆‍♀️Hot Spring Experience: The ryokan has a hot spring. Soaking in it washes away all the fatigue of the day. Although it's not comparable to large hot spring resorts, it's private and quiet. After enjoying the hot spring, you can have a cup of tea in the lounge and look out the window at the scenery. It's incredibly relaxing. 🥘Dining Service: The meals are standard Japanese cuisine, and the ingredients are all very fresh. The miso soup and side dishes for breakfast start the day full of energy; the sashimi and tempura for dinner are satisfying with every bite.
