Hawa Mahal palace

#celebrateit Located on the east side of the City Palace, "Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Wind)" is also known as the landmark of Jaipur. It is a palace built by the then Maharaja, Sawai Pralap Sin, so that the women of the court, who were once forbidden to be seen, could see the town without showing their faces. The front part of the five-story building is divided into small rooms without depth, and it is also called the "Wind Palace" because the wind blows through from any direction. It is a photogenic palace with finely decorated patterns and beautiful stained glass.
