Yufuin (also known as Yufuin) is located in Oita Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. It is a very popular hot spring resort in Japan. It is also the source of inspiration for animation master Hayao Miyazaki when he created My Neighbor Totoro. Coming here, it feels like traveling to a fairy tale world in a second. The attractions are not far from each other and are all within walking distance, which is very convenient. 🌸Recommended route Yufuin Station → Yunotsubo Kaido → Flower Town → Kinrin Lake 🍀Yunotsubo Street is a bustling commercial street connecting Yufuin Station to Kinrin Lake. Along the street, there are all kinds of delicious food, exquisite small items, special souvenirs, etc. There are also many theme stores, such as the Ghibli Forest Totoro theme store, Snoopy Tea House, Miffy Bakery... They are all so cute that you can't stop shopping! 🍀Yufuin Floral Village The floral town is another kind of scene. Its style draws on the Cotswolds, known as the most beautiful countryside in the UK. It seems like you have come to a miniature British town. It is very dreamy and full of fairy-tale colors. It is super easy to take pictures! There is also an Owl Forest inside, where you can rub cute owls🦉, which feels great! It is a small lake. To be honest, I feel it is just average. It may be the wrong season. I heard that there will be mist on the lake in the morning in winter. There is a Koi Road on the way to Kinrin Lake, with a lot of koi in it. Clapping your hands by the pond will attract a large group of koi to swim towards you, which is quite interesting.
