A Sweet Transit at Jeddah Welcome Lounge: On the Way to Turkey My journey to Turkey brought me to a 7-hour layover in Jeddah. As fatigue set in, I found the perfect escape at the Welcome Lounge in the airport. The space was cozy, with warm lighting and simple yet delightful snacks—fresh yogurt, sliced fruit, and a piece of sweet cake to keep me company. While relaxing with my trusty suitcase and bag, I couldn’t help but wish I could step outside and explore Jeddah, even just briefly. But this transit was meant only as a stopover. Still, the calm atmosphere of the lounge gave me a chance to enjoy the moment, clear my mind, and imagine the excitement that awaits in Istanbul. There are still over two hours before my next flight, but it already feels like the adventure has begun.
