Suwolbong Peak

Located in Gosan-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju City, Suwolbong Peak stands at a height of 77 meters. There is a free parking lot available in front of the stairs leading to the observation deck. At the top of the Suwolbong Geotrail observation deck, there is a hexagonal pavilion where visitors can enjoy the scenery without being exposed to the strong summer sunlight. The view includes Chagwido Island in front and Sanbangsan Mountain and Marado Island behind. Additionally, there is an electric bicycle rental experience center in operation. Electric bicycles can be rented daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, with fees set at 10,000 KRW for 40 minutes (from Jagunae Port to Suwolbong Observation Deck) and 20,000 KRW for 60 minutes (from Chagwido Port to Windmill Village). Electric bicycles operate on a PAS system, requiring pedaling to activate the motor. No driver's license is needed, and there are no age restrictions, but riders must follow designated paths and exercise caution to avoid accidents. Walking along the coastal cliffs and the path overlooking Chagwido Island was a refreshing experience. The trail, which is also part of the Suwolbong electric bicycle experience course, has gentle slopes, making it easy to walk. The open sea views along the way were truly invigorating.
